dinner with friends
i think this was really my first time cooking with any friend! fox and i visited our dear friends in redwood city after christmas.
this lovely dinner got its inspiration from suzanne goin’s amazing cavalo nero, the rest was the well paired whimsy of ali and me.
curried lamb meatballs, butternut squash gratin, cavalo nero . . .
we ate it all two days in a row. i want it now.
And it was the best damn dinner I’ve had in a looping time. A new tradition!
