I hope Quinto the Monster is having a great weekend. Be careful, he eats EVERYTHING in the refrigerator. He clearly loves the camera. Not shy at all. Quinto knows that cookies and cupcakes DO NOT JUDGE.

i’ll take a unique day over a traditional wedding any day!
jennifer and jonathan tied the knot with a few close friends, family and their dog tommy on mt. hollywood. they hired me for their portraits at the observatory and had their wedding day party in a friend’s lovely backyard complete with the kogi bbq truck on the front lawn

just like linda and andy, they did exactly what they wanted . . .

here are the portraits

ps – i think jennifer and i are long lost friends reunited. i hope we stay in touch and i am loving watching you two travel over europe!

its always an honor to shoot a friends wedding and this one was so intimate and moving that they had me thinking about love the rest of the day. . .

to quote the announcement “it was a simple ceremony for two, just the way they wanted it”
for anyone who questions if a big wedding is for them, i really feel like this is the way its supposed to be . . .

LOVE these pictures, but what I love more than anything is the joy I see on their faces. So happy for the two of you!!!

You photography is amazing! I feel like you just captured the day beautifully. In the last photo, the background seems painted…simply beautiful! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Bruininga!

Congrats to you both. The images capture the love that is so evident. Love the seemingly candid shots that show true emotion.

It was such a pleasure to work with Jen. I am honored that she accepted to part take in our surprise and all the help she offered before, during and after has been truly amazing. Jen captured the day perfectly and I cannot thank her enough. Perfection.

These pictures looks amzing. I go there all the time, and have eaten several of those dishes. Way to capture them!

Such beautiful pictures of our dishes & ales! They’ll inspire so many people to join the craft beer & local food movements. Thank you, Jennifer!

I had to keep this, one of my fave weddings of the year under wraps, until this feature. I’m excited to share it now!

Lily is the daughter of one of my favorite authors and it with complete reverence and honor that i wandered his home and backyard and shot lily and brian’s beautiful wedding. Thank you to Steph for flying out and helping on this one and a great weekend in New York.

Meet you in Montauk . . .
